Come hear the latest in mediation-related case law in Texas from Gene Roberts, Jr., Associate Dean of Students and Director of Student Legal & Mediation Services at Sam Houston State University. Gene holds a J.D. from Southern Methodist University and a Doctorate of Education in Higher Education Leadership from Sam Houston State University. Gene has held numerous leadership positions in professional mediation organizations, including past president of the Texas Association of Mediators (TAM), past chair of the Dallas Bar Association's ADR Section, past Chair of the ADR Section of the State Bar of Texas, and current board member of the DRC of Montgomery County. He speaks regularly on mediation-related topics, including ethics, legal updates, and related issues. Gene is the 2023 Susanne C. Adams Award recipient from TAM.
