Legislative Update and Annual Ethics Program

  • Friday, December 08, 2017
  • 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM (CST)
  • Dispute Resolution Center, 5407 North IH35, Suite 410, Austin
Robert Kamm, Attorney, Lobbyist and Mediator, will give a Legislative Update on matters of interest to the mediation community surrounding the 85th Session of the Texas Legislature.

Bob is a lobbyist, lawyer and mediator representing clients in legislative and administrative matters, primarily before the Texas Legislature and state agencies. In addition to government affairs consulting, Bob’s 37 year career in Texas has taken him along the path of civil litigator, lawyer for a Texas Senate Committee, lead lobbyist for a major statewide association, legislative candidate and mediator.

Following Bob's remarks, AAM will have our annual Ethics in Mediation program that, when combined with the ethics provided by Bob's presentation, will meet one hour of the three-hour ethics training required annually by TAM and TMCA.

The meeting will begin at 11:00 am for networking and the ninety-minute presentation will begin at 11:30. One and a half (1.5) hours of CE credit is available to attendees, of which 1 hour will be ethics.

This event is free of charge to all interested people, with a light lunch provided. For non-AAM members, a $5 donation for lunch is requested.

We look forward to seeing you there!
